Meet the Team: Tyler Chernesky

Tyler leading us in a conversation about our favorite neighborhood memories at Compassion Camp 2024.

Tyler Chernesky (he/him/his) is a storyteller, writer, placemaker and strategist who currently works with Alliance Studios, and helps lead a neighborhood-focused nonprofit named Community Happens Here. CHH serves as Imagine Cincinnati’s financial sponsor. They make it possible for us to exist by supporting our 501c3 financial requirements, providing office/storage space and supplies, hosting our first playgroup, collaborating on events and so much more.

Because of this amazing partnership, Tyler naturally serves as our Grantwriter and Financial Director, helping to usher in our shared vision for the communities we serve. He’s also known in the neighborhood for his involvement in supporting young entrepreneurs through the Coffee Cup program at Pleasant Ridge Montessori and more.

Tyler is an active member in Cincinnati's LGBTQ+ community, and lives alongside two dear friends and their children. He’s served as a children’s librarian, a teacher’s aide, a progressive pastor, and he’s the person we call when we need a dose of optimism.
